Job summary

The Healthcare assistant will work as part of the primary care healthcare team, providing health care duties to support the nursing & clinical team.

Main duties of the job

Assist and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by Practice Nurse or Nurse Practitioner. To Include: Phelbotomy Patient Health Checks ECG Non complex dressing B12 & Influenza vaccinations Chaperoning duties Processing and management of laboratory sample requested by GP's/PN and NP Consumable ordering and stock control Chronic Disease Management tasks associated with annual recall
