We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Medical Administrator to join our friendly and expanding team at Drs Reddy & Nunn, on a temporary 12-month contract to cover maternity leave.
As a well-established, friendly and forward-thinking GP practice, we take pride in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our diverse patient population. With continued growth and service development, we are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to support the practice through a combination of administrative and reception duties.
Main duties of the job
As part of our administrative team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)
Welcoming and assisting patients both in person and over the phone with a friendly, professional attitude
Supporting patients with online triage systems, including assisting with queries and submissions
Scanning incoming correspondence, letters, and results into patient records
Read coding relevant clinical and administrative information using SystmOne
Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in line with GDPR and practice protocols.
Working collaboratively within the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Previous administrative experience and a strong background in customer service are essential for this role. Flexibility is also key, as you may be required to provide cover for annual leave and staff absence, and must be available to work between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, as needed.
