Job summary
We are seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in the Cornwall Skin Clinic for up to 12 months.
Based within The Three Spires Medical Practice in Truro, you will assist our clinical team of consultants, GPs and Nurses in a theatre setting in providing 'see and treat' and day case clinics for the Dermatology service.
We have up to 24 hours available (two full days and two half days). Your earliest start will be 8.30 am and the latest finish will be 5.00 pm.
Main duties of the job
Ideally you will have previous minor operations or theatre experience as you will be assisting in our Dermatology clinics (a 'see and treat' service).
You should already working at a Band 3 level.
About us
The Cornwall Skin Clinic is run by the Three Spires Medical Practice, a large, forward-thinking GP Practice with a friendly team (comprising 20 GPs, a team of 7 nurses and 13 HCAs and our own physiotherapy team), who look after approximately 18,000 patients in and around Truro City.
We are a training practice which means that you may have medical students observing and participating in your clinical sessions.
No two days are the same and a shift is never dull!
