Job summary
Wateringbury Surgery is a friendly and innovative semi-rural
dispensing practice with a branch surgery in Larkfield. Our
patient list size is growing and we require an experienced Phlebotomist to join
and support our Nursing team 18 hours a week.

Salary: depending on experience. You will be included in the NHS pension
scheme
4 weeks annual leave plus birthday leave.
DBS check will be required.
If you are a registered patient at the practice and you are
appointed you will be required to register to with another practice.
Main duties of the job
We require a competent experienced phlebotomist who can work under pressure.
Appointment will be five minute slots with adequate catch up slots
The successful applicant will support the nursing team with assisting with samples, replenishing stock etc
About us
Wateringbury Surgery is a three GP Partner practice supported by five salaried GPs, a nursing team of five, reception and admin staff and the dispensary.
We are part of the successful Malling PCN and share additional staff to support the practice i.e. Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, Social prescribers, Learning Disability Coordinator, Dementia Care Ordinator, Cancer care Coordinator.

Working under the direction of the lead nurse and as part of the
practice multidisciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for
performing venepuncture, as requested by the clinical team, to the entitled
patient population. In addition, the Phlebotomist
will be expected to support the nursing team on an as required basis.
