Job summary
We are looking to expand our team of GPs. We are committed to maintaining safe levels
of work for our GPs within a supportive team environment and extending our team
further will support this.
We are interested in hearing from both experienced GPs looking for
a change and also from newly qualified or soon to qualify GPs.
Main duties of the job
We are open to discussions about how individual roles might look to incorporate your specific interests and skills and to support your professional development. We are happy to consider part-time or full-time posts although we are looking for a minimum of 4 clinical sessions as we feel that this supports involvement with the wider team and continuity of care for patients.
About us
We have almost 35,000 patients and our clinical teams work across
7 surgery sites within the Holderness area.
We have a team of 24 GPs and a fabulous team of
Allied Health Professionals which incorporates ACP/ANPs, MSK First Contact
Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. We also have a highly skilled nursing team
and outstanding administrative support teams.
Through ARRS funding, we have created a Proactive Care Team and a team
of General Practice Assistants (GPAs) whose role it is to support GPs with
administrative tasks. Our GPAs are a key
part of our plan to create a supportive and sustainable working life for our
GPs.
Holderness Health is a member of the NHS pension scheme, which is a defined benefit pension scheme which means you get a guaranteed level of benefit payable at retirement, which are based on your pensionable earnings throughout your career. As your employer we would contribute 14.38 per cent to the scheme and you would receive tax relief on all your pension contributions which are determined by your level of income but range between 5.1% and 13.5%. On joining the NHS Pension Scheme you'll also be automatically covered by life insurance, which offers a tax free lump sum worth twice your annual pensionable pay and is payable to anyone you nominate.
The Closing Date is 8th September 2023.
