Job summary
The primary purpose of the role is to provide administrative support, especially medical records summarising and basic workflow. Some other administrative duties may be assigned. The job would suit someone who is looking for about 16.0 hours per week, working on 2 or 3 days per week. Full flexibility of work days and start/finish times is entirely possible and would be discussed further at interview.

Administration
To maintain an accurate medical
summary of patient notes on the computer record.
Summarising new patient records to
a high standard and according to set protocols and timescales agreed by the
Practice.
Checking and ensuring the integrity of
electronically received records from other GP Practices.
General administration duties, supporting clinical data entry requirements such as patient recalls.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic administrator to join our established team. The role requires some clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and diligence, from someone who is self motivated and always striving for the best.
Candidates should ideally have experience of working in a clinical administration environment, within a healthcare setting. Candidates without this breadth of expertise, but with very strong and relevant background or experience will also be considered.
About us
The administration team is comprised of 9 staff supporting all aspects of clinical system administration. In total there are 35 staff working at the surgery.
Our main site at Warmdene Surgery is situated just two minutes drive from the main A27, offering bright and modern facilities with free parking and good public transport options.
