Main duties of the job

The Role:

As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care under the supervision of our experienced nursing team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine health checks and assessments.
  • Administering vaccinations and medications as per protocol.
  • Managing long-term conditions under the direction of the nursing team.

  • Taking blood samples and other clinical observations.
  • Educating patients on health promotion and self-management.

  • Assisting in the sexual health clinic, and performing smears once trained

  • Contributing to the smooth running of clinics and supporting the wider practice team.
  • Allocated administration time to support your role.
