This is a forward thinking general practice, with the largest list size based in a single location in a newly developed building. We are a training hub for GP trainees.
We are conveniently located close to the vibrant city centre of Manchester.
We are a 13,700 list size GMS practice using EMIS web, Docman 10, Footfall, and AccuRx.
We are an ambitious and supportive team and are pleased to work with colleagues at all points of their careers.
The New Collegiate Medical Centre is a well established training practice and also hosts medical students from Manchester University. We are also part of a well established Primary Care Network, hosting clinics with First contact physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioner, and Social Prescribers on a weekly basis.
We are committed to ongoing training and all our staff have regular clinical meetings including monthly educations sessions, significant events and mentoring sessions.
We do not have a duty doctor and have a low home visit rate as we fund a home visiting service and have currently 7 GP trainees.
Sessional rate is from £10,000 to £11,500 based on experience and willingness to undertake quality improvement projects on a quarterly basis.
All admin is capped for salaried doctors and we also have workflow optimisation to keep the number of documents allocated in Docman to a minimum.
