Operations Manager

Job summary

You will be an adaptable, IT literate Operations Manager who will run the day-to-day Operation services. This is a hands-on leadership role with operational, tactical and strategic responsibilities.

Main duties of the job

The role will evolve according to the strengths of the post holder, the skills of others in the practice and the changing needs of the business. The successful candidate must be able to accept a fluid portfolio of responsibilities, take ownership of the reception and call handling team and be part of the senior management group.You will have proven experience managing front-line teams in a busy healthcare or similar environment with strong IT clinical or similar systems experience.Please see full Job Description and Person Specification.

About us

We are a well-established, busy and growing GP Practice operating from two surgeries with a friendly and supportive team of 40+ staff. (GP Partners, Clinical, Admin and Patient Support teams). We look after a growing patient list that currently stands at 14250 patients. The successful candidate must be flexible to work across both our sites (Mutley and Woolwell) with some occasional work at other sites as required.
