Job summary
Church Road Surgery, based in Aston, Birmingham, is looking for a part time medical receptionist.
The hours are to be worked over five days, however, flexibility is required to cover in the absence of the team.
General practice experience is preferred, however not essential as full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job
The main duties are to answer calls, book appointments, prepare prescriptions and input documents.
You will need to be a good communicator, fluent in English, written and spoken, with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; especially under pressure.
You will have a range of patient facing and administrative tasks, so excellent organisational skills and time management are critical.

We are a well-established, GP training practice delivering family-centered continuity of care to 5,000 patients.
Our team comprises of GPs, Practice Nurses and HCA and an excellent admin team
We work with Primary Care Additional roles that include a Practice Pharmacist, Care Co-Ordinator, MSK Practitioner, Social Prescriber, Midwife and a Physician Associate
