Location: Ashbourne & Brailsford, Derbyshire

Henmore Health is seeking an exceptional GP Trainer with the ambition and aptitude to progress rapidly into Partnership (within 6 months) and take on a Clinical Director leadership role within the largest Primary Care Provider in the South Dales and one of the most progressive providers in Derbyshire.

This is a rare opportunity for a GP who enjoys shaping systems, leading people, refining policy and influencing quality at scale, while remaining firmly grounded in excellent clinical care.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a GP who:

  • Is a GP Trainer
  • Is motivated by leadership, responsibility and influence
  • Has a strong interest in policy, governance and legislation
  • Enjoys clinical supervision and developing others
  • Is ready - and enthusiastic - to become a Partner within 6 months
  • Values working within a clear executive and governance structure

This is not a passive partnership. It is an active, engaged leadership role for the right individual who wants to help shape the future of general practice.This post is designed for a GP who sees partnership not as an end point, but as a platform for leadership and influence.

You will

  • Join as a GP with a clear, supported pathway to Partnership within 6 months
  • Progress into a Clinical Director role (Henmore terminology for senior GP Partner leadership)
  • Contribute to clinical leadership, strategy and organisational development
  • Work at both practice and group level, influencing policy, systems and standards

This will encompass:

Education & Training Leadership across 2 sites, providing clinical supervision and creating a high quality, supportive training environment

Clinical governance - writing, refining and embedding policies and clinical SOPs, and work closely with the Standards Committee

  • Lead and develop our registrar programme, supporting 68 GP registrars
  • Oversee training delivery across Ashbourne and Brailsford practices
  • Provide clinical supervision, educational governance and trainer leadership
  • Work closely with senior clinicians to ensure a high quality, supportive training environment quality, supportive training environment
