Job summary
The QOF and data quality administration lead will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team.
Duties can include, but are not limited to, supporting the administration and receptionist teams with patient registration, booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner and in accordance with current policies.
The post-holder will support staff with the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
The post-holder will be an integral part of the general practice team.
Main duties of the job
a. Oversee the administrative elements of QOF, liaising with GPs, nursing staff and administrator
b. Guide the team to reach QOF targets
c. Brief clinicians on performance levels, advising actions to ensure high achievement across all QOF areas
d. Support the overall practice clinical governance framework, submitting reports for QOF and other reporting requirements
e. Oversee data quality
f. Oversee the delivery of enhanced services and other service requirement
g. Input data into the patients healthcare records as necessary through summarising/coding
h. Contribute to and embrace the spectrum of clinical governance
i. Be responsible for organizing PPG meeting.
j. Lead the management of the clinical system, ensuring IT security and IG compliance at all times. Respond to and resolve all IT issues
k. Review and update clinical templates, ensuring they relate to current practice
l. Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers requests appropriate
m. Welcome patients and visitors to the organisation, directing requests appropriately
n. Be aware of duties and responsibilities regarding current legislation and adhere to practice policies and procedures on safeguarding adults and safeguarding children
o. Undertake all mandatory training and induction programmes
p. Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times
