Full Time Assistant Reception Manager to join busy team in a friendly practice
Management Role alongside Reception Role including a variety of job roles and managing a team of 9 alongside the Reception Manager
The team consists of 10 staff at the present time including Reception Manager and they work a variety of shifts to cover opening times of the surgery
We have a large team of Doctors, Nurses and other professionals offering an excellent service to our patients
Main duties of the job
Management Duties alongside Reception duties. Staff rotas, annual leave requests, answering of telephone, making of appointments, welcoming patients and visitors, listening and understanding patients needs, resolving queries or signposting patients to the appropriate service or appointment
About us
We have a large team of clinicians including Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, health Care Assistants, along with external agencies including Physiotherapists
The practice is a friendly practice that provides excellent care to patients on a daily basis
We currently use the EMIS online system for appointments

As part of the team you would
be expected to provide an excellent service to our patients.
The work is varied and
interesting it includes Management Duties alongside Reception duties which
include answering the phone, making appointments, welcoming patients and
visitors, listening and understanding patients needs, resolving queries or
signposting patients to the appropriate service or appointment.
You need to be well motivated
and friendly with good people skills, enjoy working in a busy environment and
being part of a team. You will be able to communicate clearly and effectively,
showing understanding, care and assertiveness when appropriate.
You will be capable of
developing good administrative and organisational skills and have experience of
using computers.
Experience of working in
healthcare is not essential as long as you possess the above qualities and are
willing and eager to learn new skills and are flexible in your approach to
work.
We will provide in-house
training and continuing support.
