New to Practice Salaried GP (ARRS
Role) Evergreen Oak Surgery, Poole
£10,000 per session | 6 sessions per week
Are you a newly qualified GP (within the last two year, without a substantive post) looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are
looking for a salaried GP to work 6 sessions per week, including one day
at our branch surgery and one day as Duty Doctor. Duty Dr salary £11,000 per
session.
Main duties of the job
- Provide high quality primary care to our registered patients.
- Conduct consultations, diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments.
- Manage a share of the duty rota, including urgent and same-day appointments.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including partners, salaried GPs, nurses and admin staff.
- Completing administrave tasks such as referrals, prescription requests and reviewing test results.
- Participating in team meeting and other practice improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate patient records using SystmOne.

We are a popular training practice
serving with 7,800 patients, located in Parkstone, on the edge of Poole Park
and near the Sandbanks Peninsula with a branch surgery in Creekmoor just a
couple of miles away.
Our clinical team
includes three partners, two salaried GPs, two registered practice nurses, a
HCA and a phlebotomist.
We are an
efficient, forward-thinking, modern practice using SystmOne with Ardens support
and have well-organised workflows for both routine and same-day care.
Our very
experienced non-clinical team takes on a large portion of administrative tasks,
easing pressure on clinicians.
As an active member
of Poole Central Primary Care Network, we have access to enhanced care
services including an Enhanced Care Team
for our housebound population, Care Home Team, First Contact MSK
Physiotherapists, Pharmacists and
Pharmacy Technicians and Social Prescriber
and Health Coaches with our Active Monitoring scheme.
Work life balance
is very important. We have no personal lists, share all operational duties,
thus ensuring that part time work at the practice is very well supported.
Your working day will follow the BMA guidance on safe daily contacts,
including duty days. Routine appointments are 15 minutes. We value supportive, enthusiastic colleagues who passionate about

- Be included in NHS England list of medical practitioners as per section 91 of the NHS Act 2006.
- Hold full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Have a legal right to work in the UK.
- Complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Be willing to engage in ongoing professional development as required by the ARRS.
Desirable
- Experience of working in primary care setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Passionate about improving healthcare outcomes
- Proficient in using electronic health records
- Keen to embrace new ideas and new technologies.
