Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our growing team for 24-37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be tasked with undertaking an interesting mix of phlebotomy, blood pressures, ECGs, health checks, dressings and more.

for specific patient care intervention, such as minor surgery/Womens
health clinics
- Assist GP with minor surgery
clinics/Chapparone duties
- Processing and management of specimen requests

screening/ NHS Health Checks
- Stock rotation, control and ordering
- Cleansing and maintenance of clinical equipment
- ECG
record
- Wound management
- Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and
recording
- Restocking of clinical areas and consulting
rooms
- Assisting with collection and collation of
data on needs related to health and well-being/Health promotion
- Administer Vitamin B12,
Influenza/pneumonia/Shingles vaccinations
This role is designed to provide effective
non-clinical operational support to the medical team strictly in accordance
with specific guidelines and protocols.
Working under direct supervision the Health Care Support Worker, through
accurate and efficient recording of baseline monitoring, will assist in the
provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
