Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Pendleside Medical Practice for an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner to join our team.
The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and an experienced practitioner who is able to work effectively within our clinical team to undertake patient assessment, diagnosis and clinical management.
The vacancy is part-time, between 25-30hrs per week, spread over 3 full days.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be an experienced clinical practitioner, who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care. The post holder will be able to demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will also work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of practice policies and procedures.
An interest in caring for palliative and residents of care homes is desirable.

Pendleside Medical Practice is a long established training practice situated in Clitheroe in the heart of the Ribble Valley. The practice has 7GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, 1 ANP and 2 PAs supported by a large nursing
team who provide excellent care for our 11800 patients who reside in Clitheroe
and the surrounding area. We have an outstanding CQC rating with consistently
high QOF achievements.
We work alongside 3 other local practices, as part of Ribblesdale Primary Care Network.

The Practitioner will work autonomously within their professional scope of practice providing acute care for patients both via face to face and telephone consultations.
