Maternity Locum GP Opportunity

A Maternity Locum GP role is available on a part time basis, we are offering an opportunity to join our friendly team.

Balsall Common and Meriden Group Practice is a semi-rural practice set in an attractive leafy part of Coventry, close to the NEC. Our practice has over 13,000 patients with 3 partners and 6 salaried GPs.

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic GPs to join our growing multidisciplinary team. We value patient-centred continuity of care, no duty doctor system and your contract would only include core GMS hours.

Practice information:

Join a team of 9 supportive and friendly GP colleagues

Work with a multidisciplinary team on site including nurse prescribers, paramedic and first contact physiotherapy.

CQC rating good in all areas. High achievement QOF and local targets

Community team on site together with district nurses, MSK physio and other services including hearing care and AAA clinic.

Regular practice and clinical meetings giving all members of the team a voice in service delivery and team support.

Excellent modern Health Centre facilities

External educational speakers and 1 week study leave

Free staff car park and secure cycle parking available, Berkswell station nearby.

We are looking for applicants to be able to start asap, but willing to wait for the right candidate.

About us

We are a Semi-rural practice based in leafy Balsall Common and Meriden. Balsall Common and Meriden Group Practice offers healthcare to over 13000 patients based over our 2 sites.

The practice currently consists of 3 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, training registrar's and 4 registered nurses, alongside reception and administrative staff.

We are offering an opportunity for a Maternity Locum GP to join our friendly team.
