Main duties of the job

The role includes conducting same-day assessments and triage, undertaking home visits, performing clinical investigations (such as ECGs and blood tests), prescribing and reviewing medications (if qualified), and supporting anticipatory and preventative care. The paramedic will also contribute to service development, clinical audits, and health promotion, while working closely with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and other practice staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
