Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse.
This is a
permanent position as patient demand is such that we are now offering the
opportunity to join our established and growing team of Nurses & HCAs
headed up by our Nurse Manager.
We are looking for 2-3 days pw, up to 27hrs pw.
Main duties of the job
Essential skills:
- RN qualification

Desirable skills:
Previous primary care experience to include:
- chronic disease management,
- wound care,
- doppler and leg ulcer management using
compression therapies,
- childhood vaccinations,
- cervical cytology,
- family planning,
- health promotion,
- phlebotomy.
SystmOne experience or understanding, although
training will be given.
We would consider RN's wishing to
move into primary care and full training would be given to the successful
candidate.
We would also be interested in
hearing from Nurse Prescribers who have chronic disease management experience.

We
are looking for 2-3 days pw, up to 27hrs pw.
days to be agreed, with one working day definitely to be a
Monday or Friday, or both. You will also be required to work our Enhanced
Access sessions on a rota basis across a three week period this can be
discussed
The Practice operates from 2 sites in the Harrogate area and
the applicant must be able to work from both sites.

community. The Practice is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children,
young adults and vulnerable adults and the successful applicant will need to
undertake enhanced DBS clearance for the Practice.
