SALARIED GP POSITION
6 SESSIONS PER WEEK, OTHER SESSIONAL WORKING PATTERNS CONSIDERED
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join our friendly, progressive and efficient practice team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, team player, for 6 sessions per week. Flexible hours and working will be considered. Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
We are a practice who encourage a wide skill mix across the whole clinical workforce, and expect all clinical team members to work collaboratively.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dynamic, professional and friendly GP to join our practice team to continue to deliver the high standard of clinical care we currently provide.
The post holder must be dedicated, responsible, and driven to contribute to the innovative and forward thinking practice direction, and be a key team player.
They must have an awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. safeguarding, prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety etc.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential.
Contract:
6 sessions per week
Mix of routine work, on-call
10 minutes appointments
Typical working day would aim to finish no later than 6/6.30pm
Preferable working days would be discussed on appointment.
Some evening and weekend may be required occasionally
Flexibility around start and end times essential

We are a practice close to historic Shrewsbury town centre
with easy access to the motorway network. We are a forward thinking practice
with 10,050 patients and are committed to providing them with high quality
care.
We are a close working team which comprises of 4 GP
partners, two salaried GPs, 2 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, 2 Practice
Nurses, 1 Nursing Associate, 1 General Practice Assistant and a team of dedicated
administrative staff who support our clinical team on a daily basis. We also
have a range of Primary Care Network Advanced Role staff that support us.

team led by our Practice Manager

The post holder is expected to support and input into the aims of the practice in areas of clinical governance, good practice, quality outcomes framework, enhanced services, practice audit, referral review and any other improvement plans as determined by the practice.
The post holder is encouraged to utilise and develop any additional skills for the improvement of services to patients.
The post holder is expected to maintain and keep good standards of computerised clinical records at all times. Full involvement in any practice training and ongoing requirements of our status as a paperless practice is expected.
