Main duties of the job
The post-holder will make him/her-self available to
undertake a variety of duties including face to face consultations, telephone
consultations, online consultations, and queries, visiting patients at home,
checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, referrals, pathology
and radiology results, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
To participate in ensuring that the practice is
delivering its contractual and statutory obligations.
To participate in QoF, LES and DES work as
appropriate.
To
work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical
services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of
clinical care whilst complying with the GP contract. Furthermore, the post-holder
will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the
effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a
positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
In general, the post-holder will be expected to
undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP
working within primary care.
About us
We are a friendly, supportive, and innovative,
training Practice in inner city Bradford. Kensington is based over 4 sites, so
even with a main base you would have the opportunity to work across the sites.
We are delivering high quality care to our diverse
group of patients with a practice list size of approximately 24500. We are
actively involved in our Primary Care Network, LMC, GP Federation and ICB.
We have a dedicated team of 6 GP Partners, GP
Registrars and Foundation Year Doctors, ANPs, ACPs, Clinical Pharmacists,
Pharmacy Technicians, Physiotherapists, Social prescribers, Practice Nurses,
HCAs, Receptionists and Administration teams. We deliver special interest clinics
in Diabetes, Dermatology, Paediatrics, Women Health, Minor surgery and Joint injections.
We use SystmOne clinical system, and PATCHS online consultation system. We have
an overall good CQC rating.

carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and
staffing levels:
- The delivery of highly
