Ashcroft Surgery is looking to appoint a new full time Practice Manager to their team. This is a challenging and rewarding role requiring all round general management skills. Previous experience of general practice would be beneficial but is not essential as training and support will be provided.

We are a large urban practice in Levenshulme, Manchester with a current list size of around 8000 patients. You will work closely with the three GP Partners and Business Manager and be responsible for a team of 15 employed staff (clinical and administrative). We use the EMIS Web clinical system.

You will need to have previous experience of managing people and services. Ideally you will also have skills in contracts, finance and IT or be willing to learn as you go along. You will use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure the smooth and efficient daily running of the practice.
