General Practice Alliance (GPA)
are looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer on a full-time, 12-month
fixed-term contract to join our team and help us share the story of GPA. You'll
play a key role in shaping how we communicate with our employees, stakeholders,
and patients, ensuring our messaging is clear, engaging, and impactful.
Main duties of the job
As our Marketing and
Communications Officer, you will lead on digital and social media content,
newsletters, marketing materials, and employee and stakeholder communications, helping
the organisation in delivering clear, consistent, and impactful messages. You
will also support events and campaigns, showcasing GPA's work and initiatives.
Were looking for someone who is
organised, creative, and self-motivated someone who can take initiative and
turn ideas into action. Experience in marketing or communications is essential,
but your passion and creativity are just as important.

Lead and support content management and creation across GPAs digital
platforms, social media and newsletters, promoting GPAs brand and key
messages.
Develop tailored and engaging project communications and marketing
materials for GPA services and the operational team by applying best practice
in communications to strengthen internal and external channels and contribute
to GPAs growth and brand development.
Manage internal communications, media relations, including drafting
press releases, responding to any incoming enquiries and social media
interactions. Support staff and
stakeholder engagement through surveys and other interactive methods.
Supports clinical and managerial staff in communicating GPA news,
achievements, initiatives and service developments across appropriate channels.
Translating clinical and operational information into clear, accessible
messages for practices, stakeholders and patients.
Using Canva and other software to create professional marketing
materials, liaising with suppliers for printing and merchandise needs.
Assist with planning and delivery of quarterly company meetings and events
organised by the GPA operations team. Including identifying suitable venues,
catering, and setting agendas.
Engage in project catch-ups and 1:1 meetings with the Service
Development Manager. Attend and/or contribute to Operations programme Board
meetings, HR/Marketing monthly meetings and service/team meetings.
Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation by independently managing
workload, setting priorities effectively, and ensuring timely delivery of tasks
without close supervision.
