Job summary
We are seeking a fully qualified Nursing Associate to join our friendly and supportive practice team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate clinician to contribute to high-quality patient care within a busy primary care setting.
The successful candidate must be a qualified Nursing Associate, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and able to work within their scope of practice under the direction of the GP and nursing team. You will support the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care, undertaking clinical duties appropriate to the role and competencies.
You will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, assisting with routine clinical procedures, chronic disease management support, health promotion, and preventative care. Strong communication skills, organisational ability, and a proactive approach are essential.

Main duties of the job
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care under the supervision of the GP and nursing team
Support chronic disease monitoring, including blood pressure checks, blood tests, and review of long-term condition care plans
Perform cervical smears and provide routine immunisations, including travel vaccinations and other injections
Assist with health promotion and preventative care initiatives
Accurately document consultations and maintain clinical records in line with practice policies
Maintain infection prevention and control standards
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective service delivery
Participate in ongoing training and professional development
