The practice currently has a list of just over 14300 patients with recent and current expansion to accommodate local housing developments. There are two surgery sites. The main surgery is at Alconbury, five miles north of Huntingdon. The branch surgery (which serves 52% of the practice population) is at Brampton, one mile west of Huntingdon. There are four Partners, eight salaried doctors, and up to nine GP Registrars. We have also recently recruited two Paramedics to support the GPs with more urgent patient needs. We also host year 4, 5 and 6 Medical Students from Cambridge University.

This is led by the Practice Manager, Melanie Gearing and her Deputy, Jo-Anne Johnson. They are supported by an experienced admin team consisting of a Management Assistant, twelve Receptionists, four Medical Secretaries and six Dispensers.

Our seven Nurse team between them provide a full time treatment room service for both surgeries and are supported by four Health Care Assistants and a phlebotomist who perform purely technical clinical tasks.
