Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our supportive and forward-thinking general practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and who values working collaboratively.
As a Salaried GP, you will play a key role in providing safe, effective and responsive care to our patient population. We operate a flexible approach to working hours, including later starts and earlier finishes depending on business needs. We are looking for 3 x 6-8 session posts across the week.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-focused clinical care to our registered patient population. This will include delivering face-to-face and remote consultations, assessing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, and supporting patients to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
You will contribute to the ongoing management of patients with long-term conditions and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care. The role also includes reviewing and acting on test results, completing clinical documentation, and ensuring accurate record-keeping within the clinical system.
You will play an active role in supporting preventative healthcare, health promotion and patient education, helping individuals adopt healthier lifestyles and improve long-term outcomes.
The role also offers opportunities to contribute to clinical leadership within the practice, support colleagues across the team and participate in initiatives that enhance patient care, service delivery and quality improvement.

Clinical Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with that of an experienced GP
- Understanding of the importance of evidence-based practice
- Good MS Office and clinical system IT knowledge
- Understanding of the spectrum of clinical governance processes
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) including recording of accurate clinical notes
- Ability to work within own scope of practice and understand when to refer to GP colleagues
- Experience of triage and the ability to effectively assess and diagnose
- Ability to listen whilst being honest and caring and be both sensitive and empathetic in distressing situations
