Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive Assistant Practice Manager to join our team at The Revel Surgery.
The successful candidate will have good leadership skills, be able to foster excellent relationships with team members, and support the Practice manager in the day to day running of the practice.
We aim to keep our patients at the centre of everything we do to ensure the highest level of care and service to our community.
We are part of Rugby Health PCN and work collaboratively with the other practices in delivery of high quality care.
Main duties of the job
Supporting the Practice Manager in the day-today operations of the practice, ensuring staff achieve their primary responsibilities.
Supporting with QOF, managing campaigns for health, eg. Flu & Covid vaccinations, NHS health checks. Keeping the IT clinical system up to date, ensuring good housekeeping. Taking on areas of responsibility in Health & Safety. Responsible for keeping mandatory staff training up to date.
We are looking for a team player, to work cohesively, providing leadership, guidance and support for the whole practice team.
About us
The Revel Surgery serve a list size of 7,900 patients operating from one site in beautiful rural Brinklow. We have two GP Partners and 7 salaried GP's alongside a committed nursing, reception and administrative team. We work closely with PCN additional roles including a Physiotherapist, Pharmacy technicians, Dietitian and Mental health support. We operate our own in house dispensary.
We are a training practice and host Resident Doctors and Medical Students.
We also support research studies and are keen to be involved in all aspects of health.
The practice values high clinical standards and aims for an excellent experience. It has high QOF scores and CQC 'Good' rating.
