Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming and professional service to patients both in person and over the phone
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records using EMIS
- Schedule appointments, process repeat prescriptions, and handle referrals
- Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence, including medical reports
- Liaise with external providers such as hospitals, pharmacies, and community services
- Support the clinical team with administrative tasks as required
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and GDPR guidelines at all times
