Job summary

We are a busy supportive team who work together to provide primary health care in Irthlingborough and surrounding villages.

To provide the best services to our patients we are recruiting a part time receptionist to support patients both face to face and over the phone. They will provide a positive and friendly image to patients and enjoy working as part of a close team.

Main duties of the job

The role is varied and includes all aspects of care navigation and administration. As part of the reception team you will be the first point of contact for all patietns.

A large part of the role involves using computers, so having basic skills would be an advantage however we will give you the information required and help you develop the skills you need to provide the best possible service to our patients.

Working predominantly as part of the reception team you need to be flexible and be able to work along side others as part of a team, for whom supporting each other is very important. The right candidate will work 26.25 hours per week over 5 days in a 2 week rolling shift pattern between 8 to 1.15 and 1.15 to 6.30.

You will be helping patients who are feeling unwell and are concerned about their health therefore you must be a caring, trustworthy person who has compassion and understanding.

Since the 1970s we have been serving the people of Irthlingborough with their health needs. Over the years we have grown and now have 45 staff members assisting 11500 patients in Irthlingborough and the surrounding villages from two dedicated medical centers.
