An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join The Arundel Surgery GP Practice , helping us to provide friendly and effective care to our patients.
We are currently looking to recruit a part-time staff member to cover the following working pattern:
Tuesday 8.30-18.00
Friday 8.30-18:30
Experience of working in a GP practice is preferred although not essential as full training will be provided. We are a System One Practice.
Main duties of the job
As a Care Navigator, you need to be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and friendly who enjoys a challenge whilst working in a supportive and friendly environment. A caring, empathetic character is essential.
Being the first point of contact for our patients you will provide general assistance in a positive and friendly manner, and will deal with patients both face to face and over the phone. You will have a range of patient facing and administrative tasks, so excellent organisational skills and time management are critical as well as maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Booking appointments for the clinical and nursing teams, you may be required to chaperone patients during their appointments.
