We are looking to recruit a salaried GP to join our forward
thinking and progressive team at Riverside Surgery.We encourage you visit our practice informally to meet our
team (we'll provide lunch!). We look forward to meeting you!
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate would be looking for 4 sessions, excellent rate of pay per session per year, plus indemnity. Annual leave entitlement is 7 weeks (including 1 week study leave - which is highly encouraged).
Potential GP partnership would be considered for the right candidate.
About us
Riverside Surgery is a training practice, with over 9300 patients. We are situated within 5 minutes off junction 41 of the M4, in a modern purpose built building with plenty of onsite parking
Our current team consists of 2 partners, 6 salaried GPs, 1 ANP, Pharmacist, 2 Practice Nurses. We also employ a highly skilled and experienced Practice
Manager and a very experienced and dynamic care navigation team.
In addition supporting our team we have access to a Cluster Pharmacist and paramedic, a social prescriber and mental health nurse, podiatry and physiotherapy.
We are a young, dynamic and progressive partnership who strive to create that essential work-life balance. Our triage system has been successfully streamlined to allow our GPs autonomy and flexibility over their work load management. Our home visits are incredibly light. Medication queries are managed by our pharmacy technicians. We use Emis as a clinical system and are fully utilising electronic prescribing and the NHS Wales app. We engage in frequent meetings with our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct consultations, including routine, chronic disease management, and urgent appointments
