Job summary

Are you an experienced HR generalist looking for a high-impact role? We're seeking a confident and proactive Senior People & Operations Advisor to join our growing HR function and help deliver exceptional service across our practices.

In this newly created role, you'll work closely with managers and operational leads, managing a varied caseload, leading HR initiatives, and contributing to our wider people strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape workforce sustainability, champion EDI, and support the development of a high-performing, collaborative culture.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:

Managing employee relations cases end-to-end

Leading on HR policy, process, and service development

Coordinating and delivering HR training for staff and managers

Supporting organisational change and strategic workforce planning

Driving our EDI agenda and contributing to the Workforce Sustainability Steering Group

Collaborating with our Communications Team to enhance internal engagement

Working Arrangements: This is a hybrid role with a requirement for at least 4 days per week in the office and regular travel to our practice sites.

The role requires a proactive, confident generalist who can operate independently, take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution, manage complex casework, and drive forward improvements to HR processes. The role will also take a leading role in the development, coordination, and delivery of HR training to both staff and managers, and will contribute to the Groups workforce sustainability agenda and equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives.

Qualifications

Essential

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
  • - Proven experience in an operational HR role at Advisor level or above
  • - Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
