Main duties of the job
We are looking for a new GP to cover 6 sessions per week but would be happy to discuss the option of 4-8 sessions per week.
We provide core GMS services.
GP access is via our total triage system using Accurx. Operating as a total triage practice since 2014 our patients benefit from same day access. This means that you are not asked to see multiple problems or spend time explaining why patients have had to wait to be seen.
A normal day consists of 24 patient contacts for both face to face or telephone appointments all set at 15 minutes. Clinical admin is kept to a minimum by our workflow and medicines management teams, resulting in GPs routinely receiving no more than 5-7 letters daily.
There are minimal home visits which are shared throughout the team.
Offering the full range of Enhanced Services we also have a number of additional contracted services such as Community Surgery in our L3 Operating Suite. We therefore encourage and support the development of specialist interest to diversify the weekly routine.
