Hours of work - 22.5 hours per week
- Monday - 8:30am until 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch
- Tuesday - 8:30am until 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch
- Friday - 8:30am until 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch
This vacancy is to join an experienced team of administrators, providing support to GPs and other clinicians, to ensure the seamless management of incoming mail, reports and general correspondence.
The role is an essential one to ensure we are able to view and appropriately action items received from patients, hospitals and healthcare professionals from a range of providers, to facilitate excellent ongoing patient care.
Main duties of the job
- Ensure correspondence, reports, results etc. are filed in correct records.
- To maintain the computerised clinical system in an accurate and secure manner.
- To provide cover for members of the team during periods of sickness and annual leave, if required.
- To receive and dispatch mail and maintain a pending system.
- To scan all third party correspondence onto the clinical system - training will be given.
- To workflow correspondence to a patients usual GP and correctly file it into the patients medical records into the clinical system
- Add all relevant data from third party correspondence into patients medical records.
- File and add all relevant data from the electronic documents into the patients medical record into the clinical system.
- Monitor and action any tasks within the clinical system.

- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths

- Experience of using SystmOne clinical system would be beneficial however full training will be given
- Experience in using Microsoft Office software in a professional setting
