Main duties of the job
We are looking for a part-time salaried GP for 4
sessions per week for 12 months with a view to extend and are willing to wait
for the right person.
About us
We are an enthusiastic training practice
looking for a GP, to join and be an active member of the team; presently
consisting of 5 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 3 ANPs, 4 Nurses, 1 HCA and 1
Phlebotomist. Additionally we work with various other clinicians as part of the
Primary Care Network (PCN) Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme.
We are a leading practice with 2 GP trainers and
the Clinical Director of the Calder & Ryburn PCN being part of our team.
The practice currently covers a list size of
approx 11.5K patients providing both GMS standard services and a wide range of
enhanced services.
We are a well-run, high achieving practice in
a pleasant part of Halifax nestling just off the M62 between Manchester and
Leeds.

highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
The post-holder
will undertake a variety of duties
including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, e-consultations and visiting patients at home. Dealing with queries, path lab results and other correspondence in a timely fashion.

- A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003.
- Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983.
- Currently on a performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register.
- Accredited as a member of Royal College Of General Practitioners (MRCGP).
Desirable
- Competent user of S1 and AccuRX
Experience
Essential
- Commitment to and experience working as part of a multi- disciplinary and skill mixed team environment.
Desirable
- In practice as a General Practitioner / Locum Practitioner.
- Experience of working to achieve standards within the Quality and Outcome Framework (QOF).
- Experience supporting service changes.
