Job summary

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Salaried GP for 2 days per weekto join our friendly, forward thinking practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who values continuity of care, teamwork, and a supportive clinical environment. Main duties of the job

The postholder will provide highquality primary care services to the practice population, working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. The role includes a mix of clinical consultations, administrative duties, and contribution to the ongoing development of the practice. The successful candidate will deliver patientcentred care in line with current evidencebased guidance and the values of the NHS.

Clinical Duties

  • Provide consultations via facetoface, telephone, and online modalities
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions
  • Provide appropriate followup and safetynetting advice
  • Undertake home visits where clinically necessary (optional to remove if not required)
  • Request and interpret investigations, referring patients appropriately
  • Provide proactive and preventive care, including health promotion and screening
  • Participate in safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults

Administrative Duties

  • Manage clinical correspondence, results, and repeat prescriptions
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and highquality clinical records
  • Contribute to QOF, IIF, and other quality improvement initiatives
  • Support the practice in meeting contractual and regulatory requirements

Our team includes 2 GP Partners, a Practice Manager and Deputy Manager, an ANP and ECP, 4 Practice Nurses, 2 Healthcare Assistants, a dedicated group of Medical Secretaries and Receptionists, and an experienced Pharmacist team. As a dispensing practice, we also operate a busy and efficient dispensary service that supports our rural and semirural population.

  • Qualifications or experience in leadership, quality improvement, or research
