Nurse Practitioner or Emergency Care Practitioner Wanted

Eye Health Centre, nestled in the friendly town of Eye just off the A140, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Emergency Care Practitioner to become part of our cheerful and collaborative team. Were a well-established rural practice where patient care, dignity, and respect are at the heart of everything we do.

Role Details:

• Part-time: 16 hours per week

• Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Flexibility: Ability to cover colleagues annual leave and sickness is essential

Main duties of the job

• Access, diagnose and treat patients with a range of acute, non-acute and chronic medical conditions and minor illness.
• Initiate appropriate care plans including requesting necessary tests, onward referral to other healthcare professionals.
• Follow up consultations
• Work with the clinical and management teams to deliver a timely and cost effective service.
• Prescribe independently, safely and effectively
• Engages well with patients and colleagues through empathy and good-natured communication

• 2 GP Partners who lead with experience and care

• An Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) and Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) providing expert frontline support

• 5 Practice Nurses, a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), and a Phlebotomist offering skilled and empathetic patient care

• A knowledgeable Dispensary Team ensuring smooth medication management

• A Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician supporting safe prescribing and medication reviews

Behind the scenes, were supported by:

• A proactive Practice Manager and Deputy Manager

• A friendly and efficient Admin and Reception Team who keep everything running smoothly

• We share a visiting Paramedic team with our PCN
