An opportunity has arisen for a devoted and highly motivated experienced Practice Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team. We are a forward thinking practice, working as one team providing gold standard care to our patients.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking an ardent Practice Nurse to complement our well established nursing team. Interested applicants will be highly motivated, passionate in providing high quality patient care and provide a range of practice nursing duties, including; chronic disease management, sexual health, cytology, wound care, and immunisations.
About us
We are a large practice in Leeds 26, operating over three sites (Oulton, Rothwell & Swillington) with a patient population of approximately 15.2k patients. Our clinical team comprises 7 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 GP registrars, 5 practice Nurses and 4 HCAs. We hold strong links within our PCN (Leeds 25/26) and host a number of shared staff such as Physician Associates, First Contact Physiotherapists and pharmacists.Our practice mission statement is

JOB PURPOSE
The post holder will be responsible for the safe delivery of practice nursing services within the practice. They will work under
the support of the clinical nurse management team to deliver high quality
care to our patient population.
Working in all aspects of practice
nursing after completion of any required training and competencies, supporting patients to
achieve optimum health outcomes through health promotion and screening as
well as participating in the monitoring and management of patients with long
term conditions.
The post holder will work under local and
practice policies to ensure patients health needs are met and providing
support to junior nurses, healthcare assistants, phlebotomists and student
nurses as required.
