Job summary
We are seeking a highly organised and
proactive Patient Coordination Administrator to support the smooth operation of
our patient services. This role focuses on managing and improving our patient
recall system, ensuring timely communication, continuity of care, and high
levels of patient engagement. The successful candidate will be a key link
between patients and the practice, helping to maintain accurate records,
optimize scheduling, and support overall patient satisfaction.
Main duties of the job
Proactively
manage the patient recall system, ensuring that patients are contacted and
scheduled for routine follow-ups, check-ups, and necessary treatments.
Maintain
accurate and up-to-date patient records, tracking recall dates, and ensuring
timely reminders are sent via phone, email, SMS, or post.
Work
closely with clinical staff to coordinate appointment availability, ensuring
efficient scheduling and minimal delays in patient care.
Monitor
recall compliance rates, identifying gaps or patterns, and taking steps to
improve attendance and patient engagement.
Develop
and implement communication strategies to encourage patients to attend
appointments and maintain ongoing care.
Provide
excellent customer service by responding to patient queries promptly and
professionally.
Generate
reports on recall system effectiveness, patient attendance, and other key
performance indicators for management review.
Support the wider administrative team with general
duties (e.g. email monitoring and call answering), and general office tasks
when required
