This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills within a supportive environment. You will work as part of a small, experienced nursing team providing high-quality care to our patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of nursing services and clinical care to patients
- Deliver care within the boundaries of the role, focusing on:
- Supporting patients in managing long-term conditions
- Health promotion and screening activities
- Prevention and lifestyle support
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider clinical team to ensure safe, effective care
- Follow practice protocols, policies, and national guidance
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
Core Duties Include:
- Childhood, travel, and routine immunisations and injections
- Womens health, including cervical screening and contraception
- Wound management and dressings
- Chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma)
- Smoking cessation support
Requirements
- Registered Nurse/Nurse Associate with valid NMC PIN
- Previous experience in General Practice Nursing is ideal (although training may be considered)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and organised, with a commitment to high standards of patient care

We are a forward-thinking, friendly GP practice located in the heart of a thriving village just outside Cambridge. We serve an expanding patient list of around 5,000 and recently extended our purpose-built surgery to accommodate growing demand.

- A team of ARRS including a community matron & social prescriber
