Job summary
We are excited to be offering a new position for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner at St Marys Surgery.
The role is for 15 hours a week to be worked on a Monday and Tuesday. Hours across these two days can be flexible to meet the needs of the individual, perhaps with a longer day on the Monday.
This is a lovely opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team, working closely with the other ACPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs. Every day the surgery has a GP called the 'Top Cat' or 'Triage Clinician' who is based in reception. They are available to support the same day care clinicians with any supervision, clinical questions or queries they may have when seeing patients. They also support the admin and front of house teams ensure patients see the right people at the right time.
We are seeking Advanced Practitioners with experience of working in primary care or urgent care settings who possess a willingness to develop their practice. Job plans and working patterns are negotiable and we are happy to support ongoing studies.
The surgery benefits from a dedicated clinical pharmacist team, social prescribers, health coaches, first contact physiotherapists and mental health practitioners working within the surgery.
We'd love to meet you and welcome you to the surgery.
Please contact Phil Aubrey-Harris (Managing Partner) in the first instance on 07971 690626 or via phil.aubrey-harris1@nhs.net. We also warmly welcome informal visits.
