Job summary
St Marys and Mulberry Surgeries are excited to be recruiting into our Salaried GP teams. We are keen to recruit experienced GPs who are looking to work 5 or 6 sessions per week, ideally to hold a patient list and to contribute to our duty and triage arrangements on a substantive basis. We are recruiting to two new roles, with one of the roles will be predominantly based at our St Marys Surgery site and another respectively at our Mulberry Surgery site.
In addition to these permanent new roles we are also recruiting for a Salaried GP to provide fixed term maternity leave cover from later in the year.
Main duties of the job
We are keen to recruit GPs who want to play a substantive role within our service, contributing to our duty arrangements and preferably holding a patient list.

St Marys and Mulberry are well established recently merged surgeries serving Southamptons inner city and northern localities, serving a population of circa 30k patients over 3 surgery sites. We serve some of the most vibrant and diverse communities in the South of England, and neighbourhoods which experience significant levels of deprivation and health inequalities.
We have a diverse multi-disciplinary team and our GPs work with the support of our Advanced Practitioners, Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, GP assistants & Health Coaches. We have strong values around continuity of care, particularly for our more complex patients. We have capable admin & reception teams delivering good support for our clinical teams including high quality signposting, consistent pathways and efficient workflow management.
