Practice Nurse

Job summary

You will work as part of the primary healthcare nursing team providing high quality holistic care for patients of the practice.

We are looking for a practice nurse who has respiratory experience with flexibility, commitment and a positive approach. Ideally we would like a split of 50/50 between respiratory work and normal practice nurse duties

To work part time over three or four days or a full time position will be considered for a person with the right skill set.

Main duties of the job

Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs

Cytology/women's health

Wound care/Doppler assessment/removal of sutures/post op dressings

new patient medicals/urinalysis

ECGs and venipuncture

Hypertension management

COPD/asthma management

Ear syringing

routine immunisation /childhood immunisations
