Job summary
Would you like to join the non-clinical support team of a large, modern GP Practice?
If you have a wealth of experience in dealing with the public in a calm, polite manner, possess excellent telephone skills and are computer literate, we may have the job for you.
Main duties of the job
Manage appointments, prescriptions, visits and admin requests for patients
Respond to patients specific requests for information on services offered by the Practice.
To become expert in the Practice computer systems
To work closely with your and other teams, ensuring an effective level of service provided to patients and staff based with the Practice.
Management of chronic disease clinics and public health campaigns such as influenza
Processing of written correspondence
Processing of test results
To summarise all correspondence and test results onto the patients medical record
To summarise new patients records on to the clinical system
