Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at OneNorwich Practices to join the successful walk-in
centre as an autonomous
clinical practitioner, utilising care and case management assessment, clinical
examination and diagnostic skills to provide high-quality holistic care and
treatment.
We would welcome applications from Nurse Prescribers, Advanced Nurse Practitioners or Paramedics.
To
prescribe effectively from the extended nurses formulary.
To
assist in the co-ordination of OneNorwich Practices Walk-In Service on a day-to-day
basis.

Main duties of the job
- To provide clinical care to
registered and unregistered patients attending OneNorwich Practices
Walk-In Centre.
- To undertake a full holistic
assessment, liaising and referring to other agencies and professionals as
necessary.

promotion and education.

Essential
- RGN/RN Qualification plus MSc in Nurse Practitioner studies and current NMC registration
- 12 months + experience as Advanced Nurse Practitioner in primary care/ A&E
- Understanding of confidentiality, disclosure, and safeguarding issues
- Prior experience in managing: Urgent care and emergency medicine, Chronic disease and long-term conditions, Sexual health, gynaecology and family planning
Desirable
- NHS experience and understanding of relationship between NHS services and support agencies
