Job summary

Partner / Salaried GP - Located in the heart of Timperley Village, in a brand purpose built Surgery.

6-8 Sessions

We have a list size of 6,300 patients with a team of 4 GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurse, HCAs, Pharmacists, Social Prescriber and First Contact Physiotherapists.

Main duties of the job

Each session will include:

Standard working day Patient allocation 27 (plus x3 pre-book patient appointments) 30 total

Duty Doctor Day 22 Patient Appointments (plus x3 pre-book patient appointments) total 25 patient appointments x5 patient appointment slots for Urgent Appointments cut off 6.30pm.

Home Visits a share of daily visits will be undertaken up to one home visit per session.

Correspondence:

Issuing of appropriate certificates and forms

A review and filing of pathology results as per the rota

Completion of computerised tasks within EMIS Web

Review/ Action of hospital correspondence within Docman

Signing of computer-generated repeat prescriptions & authorisation of EPS prescriptions

Prescription signing.

Dictation of referrals and other patient related correspondence in a timely manner

Supporting the end of year QOF/ IFF Targets process

Palliative Care paperwork & special notes

Cremation Fees:

(Part 1)

Cremation fees are payable to the Practice

(Part 2)

Cremation fees may be retained by the Practitioner where applicable

Medical Insurance Forms:

Up to 1 fee paying forms per week will be carried out as part of routine duties and all fees will be payable to the Practice.
