Practice Nurse

Job summary

We are looking for a new Practice Nurse to work part time, in a friendly and supportive central Brighton practice. Our vision of the future of primary care is of a multidisciplinary team with a wide-ranging skillset to meet the needs of our patients and support the delivery of high quality service and provision.

Our currently serve 13,000 patients in a large modern premises in Central Brighton. The team is made up of 2 GP Partners, 4 salaried GPs, 3 ANPs, 3 Practice Nurses and 2 HCAs; as well as experienced Reception and Administration Teams.

We run specialist clinics - joint injections; minor ops; Coils and Implants; as well as hosting onsite midwives and the local Wellbeing Team. Our excellent nursing team run most Chronic Disease Reviews as well as working on specialist areas such as Mental Health and Womens Health.

Main duties of the job

Our ideal candidate will have some prior experience of general practice, but we are able to support your ongoing training needs and development if necessary. The role benefits from being part of a large and supportive nursing team. We are looking to cover around 24 hours of nursing but would be happy to discuss work pattern and hours at interview
