Job summary

GP Practice Nurse is required in place of a long term nurse who has recently retired from Keats Grove Surgery.

We require 15 hours per week over 3 days - days and times to be discussed at interview.

Main duties of the job

General Practice Nurse duties to include:

  • Cervical Smears
  • Asthma/COPD/Diabetic reviews
  • Childhood Immunisations
  • Travel Immunisations
  • Contraception
  • Wound Checks & Dressing Changes
  • Suture Removal

About us

We are a two partner (one female/one male) GP Practice. Our clinical staff also comprises of a salaried GP (male), a Practice Nurse, ANP, HCA and a GPA. We also have a full admin team of receptionists, secretary, coding and chronic disease management recall.

We are a friendly and supportive team.

  • Registered General/Practice Nurse
  • Qualified in the following recent updates in the following:

  • . Childhood Immunisations

Desirable

  • Knowledge of EMIS Web
  • Driving License (preferable but not essential)

Experience

  • Experience of working in Primary Care
  • Experience of working in in a GP Practice
