Job summary
Part-time post 20-25 hours per week Monday-Friday.
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who can provide efficient secretarial support. You will be expected to work independently and part of a team, exercising judgment and initiative to prioritise and co-ordinate your workload.
You will be required to use various computerised systems including Emis, accurex, microsoft office, outlook and choose and book.
Post holder will be required to have read coding onto emis and medical secretary experience. Typing qualification desirable and procession of medical terminology.

Main duties of the job
Undertaking a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties and support to the team.
Typing letters, reports and documentation as required, liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently
Manage enquires in an effective manner, maintain an accurate referrals database, input data into the patient's healthcare records, read coding hospital letters onto Emis and summarising of medical records.
Choose and book and other referrals. Dealing with incoming phone calls and making calls.
Dealing with new starters including student and first year doctors.
Medical reports
Maintain a clean, tidy and effective working area at all times.
