Job responsibilities

Heart of Bath are looking for a Part time phlebotomist to join our friendly team.

The Phlebotomist is responsible for the collection of blood samples for laboratory testing.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare specimens for testing by collecting needed blood samples, taking the vitals needed and interpreting the results in a timely manner.
• Process, store and report samples in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm (flexible hours).

Skills & Experience:

• Phlebotomy Experience
• Experience of SystmOne is beneficial but training will be provided.
• Strong verbal skills and customer service attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment.

• Completed accredited phlebotomy training
